Genetic Code, Vincent Building, Cranfield University, Bedfordshire 2008

As part of the architectural design of a £20 million Health Research building, manifestations were created for the all the glass walls of the laboratories. For these the words “Cranfield Health” was converted into a genetic code relating to its letters which was then coded into its 3D protein structure using specialist software by Dr Lee Larcombe of the Bioinformatics Proteomics team. This silhouetted into its monochrome 2D structure and used as the white manifestations.
